Another new product added to the website. I have done a couple years of research and feel I have come up with the perfect blend of all natural beeswax (from our farm) and pine sap and the perfect blended combination of them creating the stickiest dubbing wax. It was so sticky packaging has been a problem, it literally sticks in containers so we had to just make cubes. If you want some sticky dubbing was that smells great too, here it is!!!!!

Ok friends, the Fly Fishin' homies, my homeschool fly fishing is finishing up their first year of lessons. December 5th we are celebrating their accomplishment while at the same time having a club Christmas party. We're going to do a dinner and some awards for the kids achievements. Kind of how a public school sports banquet is. Now we all know how big of a deal they make those events, well these kids deserve every bit as much. This will be an event where their families can come eat a dinner and cheer on their kiddos achievements.

I am looking for door prizes, anything local business's have to offer and anything any fly fishing business would have to offer. Monetary donations will also be accepted and will all go to prizes and equipment to get these kids started on having all of their own gear to be able to fish and tie.

As you know these kids have met twice a month for the year, they have all been learning flytying and have got to catch fish with their own flies. We have established a library type system where the kids and families of the kids can check out gear to go fish on their own, but I have big dreams and want to get them all set up themselves over this next year.

So if you are interested I am going to have social media posts and the local news outlets, and the local news outlets where the kids reside all presented with an article about their accomplishment. I will list all the sponsors in that article. So your business could get some publicity for your act of kindness.

There are a bunch of kids and it cost several hundred dollars a piece to get them set up. We're slowly getting there and would appreciate your help. We are also going to Colorado next year for a week and I have an account set aside for them funds as well, so if you want to help with that I can earmark it to that if you prefer.

Anything helps, as gar as door prizes these are kids from 6 ish to 18, it doesn't have to be fishing related. Even snacks and treats for the party. I just want these kids no they are appreciated and that people are seeing the work they are putting in.

I understand I post alot about this. I however am the one who is the public voice, I don't have a school t shirt fundraiser every week, it's just this. Also understand that this is a lifetime investment. I still have and use some of my very first fly fishing and fly tying stuff. They are getting quality gear, the rods we're getting come with lifetime warranties that are made right here in the Good old USA.

This isn't a season by season investment, this is stuff these kids will be able to use for decades. It's a win win, you get publicity, kids get quality gear and a sence of accomplishment a cool party and a fishing trip.

Please help me make this a successful event and new year for this awesome group of kids.

What a wonderful rain, no run off just soaking in. The pond still has a few inches to be full, but it caught some water and has risen a few inches. Can't remember the last time I dumped 5 inches of rain out of my rain guage (for the last couple days).

So I'm going to sell fly boxes this year starting next week. I will have boxes for pretty much any Oklahoma waters. Dry flies, midges, eggs, trash flies. I'll be uploading to my website this week. So please check out www.ivegotbugs.com for some holiday shopping.

I can see my fly tying desk, like there really is one. I always thought it was just a pile of feathers.

Got all my materials sorted and organized. My fly tying bench completely cleaned off except for the stuff I'm working on tonight. Got my first fly tying desk set up with all my foam tools. Everything is sorted and labeled. For the most part my fly tying library is organized. It's pretty awesome walking into the room now.

I'm not sure if I have a disorder, but I may really have a problem with flytying.
