I’m throwing it back to one of the earliest gaming events I had the privilege of organizing under my former brand, Assist Tech. This event was held at The Rink Studios in Sacramento, and wow, it’s amazing to see how far things have come.

Back then, we brought players together to compete in Street Fighter 6, Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

I also remember the very next day was the first day of lock down from Covid19. 😱

Looking back at our Fighting Game Jamboree, we’re so grateful for everyone who made it happen. The hard work of the organizers and the energy of the players and attendees created an amazing atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our recent Street Fighter 6 Tournament with Cosumnes Parks & Recreation such a success. TOs, volunteers, players and spectators, your support made this event possible.

With side tournaments like Tekken 8 adding to the excitement, it was an incredible day for the FGC of EG.

Greetings Everyone! I'd like to announce that a project of mine that was originally canceled during the pandemic has been re-Green lit! Elk Grove's Fighting Game Jamboree lives!
This fighting game event will feature a Street Fighter 6 Tournament, with other fighting game titles available for casual play.

They are already talking about pulling the plug on this since registration numbers are very low - they don't know we FGC folks like to wait til the last minute.
Also, there is limited room! So the sooner the better!
