~ Right on schedule, the rain has entered West Kentucky. This will move East and nearly everyone in the state will see at least half an inch of rain and some in Central Kentucky will likely see spots of 1"+. No severe weather is expected, but lightning will occur in isolated pockets. - George

We don't really have service, we're out at Crooked Creek for the all famous Crooked Creek Trail races. So here's a classic version of the forecast:
*SUNDAY*: Warming up drastically! However, we know in the winter time that usually means it comes with rain and that's true here. Soaking rain showers, heavy at times with perhaps some thunder mixing in will start in the evening time and dominate the state by the late night. No severe weather is expected. - George

These are to highlight the potential for isolated slick spots and dangerous travel conditions that are possible as a light coating of snow moves through late and through the overnight. Before I'm asked, I have 0 insight as to what schools may or may not opt to do. This snow isn't a guarantee. - George

As mentioned in our last post, some may see a thin batch of freezing rain/snow. *IF* this were to occur, it would likely be late through the overnight. I wouldn't expect anything big here. That said, a few slick spots may occur as flash freezing is on the table. Again, if this is to occur, it would be isolated locations EAST of I65. - George

As the cold front enters this afternoon/evening/night some rain/snow is possible as well as freezing rain. Fairly light precipitation, however: winds may gust up to 35 mph at times tonight as that arctic front pushes in. We'll keep you posted! -George
