Finishing up a oil cooler fan mount for a Rogator fertilizer applicator today. We manufacture several items now for agricultural equipment, combine transition liners, wheat paddles, trash grabbers, most has been out of necessity😃! Simpson Farms LLC

That's a wrap! We just completed install of 5 sets of wing stands for the B-1B bomber at Tinker AFB. These stands are all aluminum other than a few components here and there. Mechanics will use these stands for upgrades and matinenance work on the aircraft's wings. The stands have jacking legs with 30" of travel for height adjustments.

This project was a blessing for us to land in such a trying year. The wind and weather onsite made this a tough install. Thanks to folks at Tinker who were very accommodating. Thanks to all our guys for hanging tough and pushing through to get this project completed. East bound and down in the morning!

Finished up a complete demo and install of a new launder line late today. It was a tough job on a tight timeline but the guys made it happen!

Wrapped up another project today! SAS-INC performed a full refurbishment on these two tail docks with some upgrades as well. Thanks to Chris, Michael and Frank for taking care of us this week. Thanks to our guys for sticking it out during tough conditions.

SAS-INC is rolling with punches when it comes to the covid-19 pandemic. Today we have finished preparations, loaded and cleaned the truck and are ready to roll out Monday morning(3/30/20). Even though the airline industry has been hit hard by the crisis, airline companies must continue to maintain their fleet per FAA mandates. We will be onsite this week providing crucial maintenance for a customer. This job is essential because we will be replacing key safety equipment on a large tail dock. Without this maintenance this tail dock will become unsafe and therefore unusable.

We are providing all possible safe guards for our team members as they travel during these uncertain times. The guys will be carrying all essential food items and equipment when they leave the shop for the week.

We even bumped up to a VRBO home in lieu of a hotel to help eliminate any contact. STAY SAFE!

Wireless internet has become a necessity for airline passengers in today's chaotic world. I know it makes passing the time when I travel a lot more enjoyable. Thus SAS-INC is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to design, manufacture and install the first wide body aircraft WIFI maintenance stand for Delta Airlines. This maintenance stand will provide airline mechanics a safe and efficient method to access and maintain the WIFI satellite components. We are proud of the team we have in place to help us achieve these milestones! This is a Patent Pending product, another first for us!

Finishing up a project here on base. What a pleasure it was working here, very impressed with the leadership as well as the young men and women serving. After day 3 they told us we were family! The Air Force has several carreer choices to offer that we where unaware of.

Simpson Aerospace Services recently delivered 2 of 10 Engine/Windshield Access stands to a regional airline. This stand is custom built to the customers needs and the attached picture shows the mechanics trying them out. We will offer this stand in multiple configurations based on the customers needs.

Onsite today to complete custom modifications to a wing stand for a customer. Wing stands are used by mechanics to access the wing of an airplane for repairs and maintenance and are designed to provide optimal safety conditions for those mechanics.

When you are involved in any business that requires manufacturing, heavy material, and dangerous equipment, as much as it should be, your daily thought isn’t necessarily “Okay, let’s everyone go home safe and sound today”.

Today as part of an entry procedure to North American Stainless, in Ghent, Kentucky our crew had to set through site specific safety training. These safety training sessions serve a good reminder of how important safety is, not just to our company but to our children, our spouses, our co-workers, everyone that depends our us everyday to come home the way we left, SAFE.

Safe work starts with the individual awareness of what you are doing at work or at home. We all face multiple uncertainties in life and unavoidable accidents will happen. It is our responsibility to limit the exposure to accidents that can be avoided by using safe work practices at all times, not just when it is convenient. As I can often times be an impatient crew leader, this was a good refresher message for me because now, it’s the end of the day and I can go home, the way I left this morning! - CS
