Well, because of the continuing facebook fiasco, we've been trying to figure out how to format videos to post on instagram, which for the past year, we have not been able to because of a formatting issue, so we consulted with someone on Saturday who was FINALLY able to help. It was a coding issue with how we render videos. For you techies, we render everything into an H.264 format, which is industry standard, but instagram changed a while back and you can only upload H.265 format videos, otherwise you get an error warning saying your video was not able to be uploaded. So yesterday, Saturday, we re-rendered a couple of videos into an H.265 format and were finally able to get them to upload on instagram. We know and understand that instagram is also owned by Zuckerberg, BUT it's a different platform that functions differently than facebook, so we will now also be posting on instagram. A while back we made a post saying we were having issues with facebook and that we will be posting on X because of the troubles facebook keeps giving us. That did not mean we will no longer be posting on facebook, but as an example of why we dislike facebook, see the image in this post (it clears up if you click on it to make it full size). It's from tonight's post letting our followers know that the weekly wrap news broadcast is now up and airing, and then facebook DELETES IT and says it's spam! It's the same post we do twice a week, every week. Nothing more, nothing less. How else are we supposed to let our facebook followers know that the newest broadcast is up and airing if we aren't allowed to post it on a TV & News page? X does NOT do this to us because it's called CENSORSHIP! Facebook also claims we are trying to get likes, follows, shares or video reviews in a misleading way. WHAT IS MISLEADING ABOUT LETTING FOLLOWERS KNOW WE HAVE A NEW BROADCAST UP? And it's facebook.... EVERYONE wants likes, follows and shares. That's the whole point OF facebook for businesses! What a useless platform!
