"I believe with the amount of time to educate voters, they will see why it is a moral imperative to remove this language from our constitution," Assemblywoman Lori D. Wilson said about a new anti-slavery amendment she introduced this month.
Californians rejected the anti-slavery ballot measure Proposition 6 last November. It would have forbidden forced prison labor in California.
