First is the story of entrepreneur Alicia Maldonado. She has a business called Tamales El Dorado. Now there’s many places to get great tamales in El Paso.
There’s only one place where you can get tamales and nourish the soul and spirit, simultaneously. She’s also a pastor and works with pastors and teachers from Juarez in her establishment.
Her business is located on 5763 Alameda. The area has generationally been an economically blighted area of El Paso. And the people that frequent her place tend to be the elderly of the region who give the place a spiritual flare and vivacity that you can only find in the borderland of El Paso/Juarez.

It was a truly historic night on Tuesday 10-8-24. Having @hermanosgutierrez and @leonbridges perform at The Plaza was night that will build up value in the collective memory banks of our individual lives forming one collective in the spirit of positivity and celebration with a cool, existential edge.
