At just 34, Kevin received devastating news. His cancer was incurable, and he had only 12 months to live. As he processed this, he couldn’t help but reflect on what he’d missed in life. "Is it time? Where is he?" Robert asked his wife, Lisa.

Lisa checked her watch and whispered back, "Maybe he's running late. The weather’s not great, but he should be here any minute."

As if on cue, the doorbell rang. Lisa wiped her hands on her apron and walked quickly to answer it. When she opened the door, a gust of cold air blew in, carrying with it a man dressed head to toe in a Santa costume.

"Ho-ho-ho!" he bellowed, stepping inside and brushing snow off his red coat. "Where's the little girl for whom I've brought presents?"

"Santa! You came!" Ashley, Lisa's daughter, shouted, jumping up from the carpet and running to throw her arms around him.

Her giggles filled the room as Santa patted her back warmly.

While Santa was handing out their daughter's gifts, Lisa and Robert were momentarily distracted by a conversation about how good a gift they had chosen. When they turned back around, they saw that neither Santa nor their daughter was in the room.

Panicked, they ran to search for them and saw Santa about to take their daughter outside.

"What are you doing?" screamed Lisa, running over to grab her daughter.

Santa lowered his eyes and said, "Lisa, I have something to reveal to you." He raised his hand to his beard and pulled it off, revealing his face.😳👇 See less
