One of my favorite Mix/Master engineers compares all the streaming music services in detail today. I especially paid attention to the highest quality. I could not have agreed more with the analysis.

Here is the quality of the services compared:

Amazon Music

Tidal (really close to Amazon and further analysis might make it the same)

Apple Music (surprisingly not quite as good but I think it is quite good)

YouTube (sounds worse than the specs and always seems to alter the tone)

Spotify (the audio is terrible no matter how high the quality. As a side note, this service pays artists almost nothing. If a song has less than 1000 plays it pays them exactly nothing)

So... we did a thing. We have moved to the warmth and wonder of El Paso, TX. New beginnings will come from this. It will take time to find our place in the music community. Congratulations to one of the bands you *must* catch live on their new album, Reynaldo Jenkins & Teardrops. Each album is mixed by Toothless and Ruthless studio. It is difficult to capture a high-energy live band like this. I enjoy the outcome of all of them. A bit of a different high-energy spin on the recorded tones each time. This one is a true winner for me.
