Hey everyone, early Friday, the 21st, Dish Network decommissioned one of their satellites. Most of everyone's receivers should have updated automatically for this, but if you are having issues, you need to unplug the power to your main receiver for 5 minutes, plug it back in and let it load up or until you get a no signal screen. After that, you need to run a check switch and make sure you are getting satellites 119 and 110.

Directions for running a check switch for receivers 211, 222, and 722: hit menu, then hit number 6, number 1, and number 1 again. That will take you to the satellite check switch page. You will need to arrow up to check switch, then it will take you to the test page and you will need to hit the test button. Let that go through and the only satellites that you should have are 119 and 110. Once it's done, just cancel all the way out.

Directions for Hoppers and Wally's: depending on the remote, you will either have a menu button or one that looks like a house. Hit the button you have on your remote 3 times, it will take you to the diagnostics screen. Then hit number 3. Make sure tuner 1 is selected. Then hit check switch on the right hand side of the screen. Let that go through and you should end up with satellites 119 and 110. Then you will hit cancel or back until you're all the way out of it.
