Next Month is Kansas Reads to Preschoolers month! Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is an annual event, since 2005, that promotes reading to all Kansas children from birth through age five in the month of November. Through the statewide program, parents, librarians and caregivers are encouraged to read to your little ones! For more information, check out the link below.

Book sale starts today! We have lots of kids books, junior fiction, inspirational, Latge Print and Lao much more! Stop by and add to your bookshelf. Cost: $.25 for kids books, $0.50 for adult/young adults and $5 for a bag of books! 10-4 today and Wednesday, 2-6 Thursday, 10-3 Friday and 10-12 Saturday.

September is National Library Card Sign Up month! If you or your kids have yet to sign up for your free library card, be sure to do so in September. Having a library card grants you access to tens of thousands of books, videos, games, eBooks, programming and more. You will have access to Hoopla Digital and the State Library of Kansas and all of their resources as well. A library card leads to a lifetime of learning, friendships and fun!

The library will be closed on Monday September 1st in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday September 2nd @ 10:00. We will be holding our annual book sale starting 9/2. We will have plenty of kids books as well as junior fiction, young adult and adult books. Authors include James Patterson, Stephen King, Danielle Steel, Nicholas Sparks, Janet Evanovich, Debbie McComber, Sandra Brown and more. Stop by and see us next week!

We will be holding our annual book sale during the month of September. There will be titles by James Patterson, Stephen King, John Grisham, Sandra Brown, Danielle Steele, Nicholas Sparks, Clive Cussler & more, as well as Young Adult, Junior Fiction and plenty of kids books, both picture books and chapter books. The price of books will be as low as $0.25 and $5 per a bag of books. Thank you for your support!
