Hi guys,

Please check our first monster named Phred. He is our Meatballs monster. We are going to discover what happens to him when he gets anxious in our first book.

We are working hard on our first project and I wanted to share the incredible work Erica has done to bring Phred to life.

We believe in our mission, to create tools to help children and their caregivers navigating mental health challenges. Please, support our endeavors.

The COVID-19 virus has caused widespread disruption in treatment and services and increased the strain on our mental health to new levels. Stress, anxiety, loneliness, despair, substance addiction, self-harm, and su***de ideation are all increasing, yet getting help, especially professional assistance, is more complicated than ever.

Our global community was unprepared to deal with mental health concerns before or after the COVID-19 pandemic. The global prevalence of anxiety disorders and mental or substance disorders is estimated to be 284 million and 970 million people, respectively. Su***de ranks the second leading cause of mortality among those aged 15–29 worldwide. But just 2% of healthcare budgets are allocated to mental health services. These alarming statistics reveal a worldwide pandemic of inactivity concerning mental health.

Get involved today and support the efforts of Empathic Little Humans Press to offer a selection of valuable tools to help children and families reach their full potential by supporting them and their mental health.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the United States has a high prevalence rate of mental diseases. Its prevalence among adults aged 18 and older, is about 20% of the population (52.9 million in 2020). Sadly, only 24.3 million people got help for their mental health problems.

Empathic Little Humans Press is a young self-publishing house, with an important mission. It aims to create books and tools to help the youth affected by mental illness in their family. Erica Raven Branch-Butler and Florence Burrows aim to create a selection of tools to help children in our country navigate the challenges they have to face, such as the incarceration of loved ones, the depression of a caregiver, or PTSD.

Join us on our journey to change the perception of mental health issues and stop the stigmatization of the sufferers in our communities.
