One of the most rewarding parts of my work is visiting schools across Oklahoma to read my books to children and share my journey as an author and publisher. It brings me so much joy, especially when I have the opportunity to connect with schools that serve a large Hispanic community. Inspiring these young minds to dream big, work hard, and believe that anything is possible is truly a privilege.

It’s an honor to represent my culture and language, showing these children that their heritage is a source of strength and pride. My hope is to plant seeds of confidence and creativity, encouraging them to envision the incredible futures they can achieve.

I’m deeply thankful to Lonergan Advisors, LLC and Project Elf-Tulsa for making this a reality—providing me the chance to visit Tulsa and ensuring each classroom receives a set of my books. What an extraordinary gift to be part of something so meaningful!

Lonergan Advisors, in collaboration with Project Elf, is proud to support a school visit from bilingual author and publisher, Lidia Brodine. Lidia, founder of Calderon Publishing based in Oklahoma, has published four children's books. During her visit, Lidia treated the students to much more than a book reading. In both English and Spanish, Lidia explained the entire process of writing, illustrating, and publishing books. To make the day even more special, each grade was gifted a set of three books for their classroom libraries which will encourage a love of reading and storytelling for the students.

What an honor it was to speak at a parent workshop at Western Gateway Elementary School (), where I shared the story behind my journey of writing bilingual books for children and the powerful benefits of reading to kids in both languages.

A big thank you to Western Gateway Elementary School for their commitment to literacy and bilingual education. They generously purchased my bilingual books so that families at WG can receive them free of charge. I am deeply grateful for this incredible opportunity! Looking forward to the next workshop!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to give books to so many children at Hilldale Elementary - Putnam City during their Trunk or Treat event last week! This was all made possible through a wonderful collaboration with University of Central Oklahoma and their Bilingual Education Project. It was a true joy to connect with my Hispanic community here in Oklahoma, representing them as a bilingual author and publisher.
