Talking about invasion of privacy, it has been a subject of a never ending debate on whether the Government should be allowed to invade our privacy. One opinion is Absolutely not, invasion of Privacy is a direct threat to "Democracy" as Surveillance can be used as means of control.
The opinion is that,other problem however we are facing as a nation is different from what other countries are facing, we currently are up against bigger war of terrorism than most of the countries, the dilemma here is that if we make something impossible to break in order to secure our privacy, it becomes a perfect tool for terrorists to communicate and maintain anonymity.
Therefore, there would always be some sort of trade-off between Privacy and National Security and we as a nation have to decide, what is more important to us.
"Does War on terror 'justifies massive invasion of privacy?", I would love to hear your opinions on this subject:
