** NEXT THREAT OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL **

A weak low-pressure system will move out of the south Friday night into Saturday afternoon, bringing a wide swath of light to moderate snow across much of the southern portions of the Ohio Valley and into our local region. The steadiest snow will likely remain west of the Appalachian Mountains as the higher elevations will shear the already-weakening system out. Travel impacts will be expected late Friday night through early Saturday afternoon. By Saturday afternoon and evening, we will have just left-over lake effect and possible orographic-lift-induced snow showers. Multiple days of widespread lake effect snow will continue into much of next week, bringing potential daily snowfall accumulations to much of western and northern Pennsylvania.

A little reminder that Cambridge Taxidermy has for the past two seasons (and plans to continue to be) a CWD Approved Cooperator taxidermy shop. This simply means I am allowed to take out of state deer without the head being fully caped.

In the past, all cervids from outside the state of Pennsylvania needed to be fully caped when brought to my shop (no eyes, vertebrae, or brain matter could legally cross state lines). With this permit, it is now entirely legal. So if you or anyone you know is looking for a quality whitetail taxidermist, feel free to give me a shout, regardless of the state you harvest the animal.
