This discord channel will be the main source of outsourcing production for us. As well as scoping new artists for features and signing consideration.

Artists don’t know how to promote so they go cheap, buy bots, and look like a joke to the rest of the community. A&R’s, event managers, agents, can all tell when an artist botted their social media or their dsp.

If you’re not willing to learn how to promote yourself correctly then don’t worry about getting a budget or pushing your music to anyone aside from your neighbor.

The band known as Volfpeck wanted to tour but had no money. They had a dedicated cult following though. After some brainstorming they came up with an idea. That idea would be the album know as ”Sleepify”. A silent album they advised their fans to stream on repeat while they slept. They went on to fund their tour off the streams & made Spotify update their stream rules due to their success.

Their album was not technically ai made, but it may as well have been since each song consisted of 31 seconds of silence.

In a case being calling a first, a musician has been charged with fraudulently inflating streams on services such as Spotify and Apple Music to collect huge royalties.

If the video has over 100k plays and under 1k likes & comments, it’s botted. You don’t get paid for bot views. Spotify also started removing botted songs from their library this year. Don’t get kicked off of dsp’s or make yourself look like a joke trying to be successful. Find the right way to invest your money.
