I think this are very cute.
I think this are very cute.
Prepping this and had to put a sign on it telling my kids do not touch. I only painted it and laid the glass where I want it to go. Not one piece is secured to the canvas. I’m just tryna see if I like this first before I secure them and which way I wanna go as far as putting the design and what not. I might have to change the colors I have in mind cos the glass seems like it’ll be too dark for these colors.
My latest projects and I am so overly pleased with how these turned out. Not only are they pretty but they are near flawless.
The final products and i absolutely love them
Working on something i can’t wait to see how these turn out
I absolutely love this piece
Poured my second layer of resin in my “flowers in a heart” mold (I’m going to change the name of that). Also did a final layer on my “pink and purple nerds” coaster set. I might end up using a lot of resin on the heart one because it’s a really big piece. I’ve already used 19oz of resin and it isn’t even half full yet. It’s cool. I keep an extra gallon of resin on standby.

Pocket hugs make great gift ideas
I got some new molds in yesterday and a leveling board which is about to improve my so much. I’m so excited to use it. I’m working towards flower preservation (that’ll go in the large heart and large polygon) and I’m also going to be making pocket hugs which are great for just because gifts, stocking stuffers etc. I’m drying out some rose and some other really pretty flowers which I don’t know the name of. I’ll check on those on December 3rd.
S/N The picture of the pocket hug below is just an idea. The pieces will be the size of the smaller hearts (mold pictured below).
The progression of my work of the last 2 years is so amazing. I started off making small things like earrings and keychains but I found it difficult because of my eyesight so I started making coasters and ashtrays. I just jumped in with the instructions and my imagination and haven’t regretted a thing since. It’s always something to learn. I had to remember that with what I envision, it may not turn out exactly as I hoped and that’s ok. These are my most recent projects. I actually demolded these this morning and I am absolutely in love with how they came out. The holographic heart has small holes in it due to air bubbles but it’s fine because that was just a pour I did with leftover resin that I didn’t want to waste. And btw, I have not at all regretted switching from let’s resin to jdiction. And I’ve always loved the maribu rainbow alcohol ink which is that faint sparkly effect in the squares. I have not cleaned up the edges yet and there are smudges from my fingerprints. However, these are very beautiful.
Resin is my happy place
Purchased some pretty flowers for the sole purpose of drying them out and making a pretty resin piece. I have them drying out in silica gel sand. I’ll check on them 12/03. I also purchased a bigger heart mold. The first one I got was small and that wasn’t what I was looking for but I still love it. I purchased some heart keychain molds and double sided glue dots so I can start making pocket hugs. And the one thing I’m most excited about is the leveling board. I’m tired of some of my pieces being uneven. Below I have pictured the flowers and the first thing I made with the small heart mold
They turned out great despite the first one being on an unleveled surface and mostly on one side of the mold. I wasn’t going to toss it. The second one is nice too
Before the final coat
Working on something
These are so pretty. I just love these. The pictures don’t do them any justice. You can’t see the sparkles
Sneak peak of what I’m working on
My hydrangeas and the leaves. The second pic is similar to what they looked like before I dried them.
I was invited to make my resin page a creators page on TikTok 😍😍
Found out my grandma likes sunflowers so I gave her this and she loved it
I’m loving this sunflower resin polygon I’ve made. This took some time and real effort from drying the flowers myself, then waiting a few extra weeks to use them and then pouring in 4 layers after selecting how I wanted to arrange the flowers.
