In the highly anticipated Dodge County Commissioner District 2 race, Leigh Ann Greene emerged victorious with 52.1% of the vote. Greene received 1,152 votes, securing her position on the commission.

The full breakdown of the District 2 race is as follows:

Leigh Ann Greene: 1,152 votes
Melvin Hodge: 708 votes
Tommy Thomas: 196 votes
Alan Mills: 154 votes

In the presidential race, former President Donald Trump led with 3,966 votes, while Vice President Kamala Harris received 1,352 votes in the county.

Congratulations to Leigh Ann Greene on her win, and a big thank you to all the candidates and voters who participated in this election!

Tomorrow morning at 8:40 AM on Talk of the Town, several of the Dodge County Middle School Competition Cheerleaders will light up the airwaves with their vibrant energy and enthusiasm. Under the guidance of coaches Sarah Ashley Winans and Kristen Jones, the talented team features standout cheerleaders whose team’s spirit and camaraderie are strong, reflecting their dedication to one another and their craft. Their excitement for the upcoming competitions is contagious as they share insights about their training and the joy of being part of such a dynamic group.
