Tonight is our second exercise for Coverup Mastery: A 4 Week Intensive with Guy Aitchison
At 8:45pm est @guyaitchisonart and @tonykellytattoos will be leading the coverup exercise where we’re taking this old tattoo and creating a coverup design with an octopus. You can use our references or find your own.
Hopefully you had a chance to work on your last week’s project with the skull and orchids and you can send that in to [email protected]
Please make sure the photo is in jpg format and, if possible, on the same image file please have a low opacity version so the old tattoo is visible under the layout.

Second trimester are working on mermaid leg piece,
third trimester are working on fantasy or abstract backpieces

She will be going over different types of scar tissue, design Strategies and application techniques. We will also be doing some small sketches to put the lesson into action.

You will have the freedom to design for any body part and any subject matter but we will be creating an anaglyph 3d effect.
