Just wrapped up refitting our 4-channel wireless microphone systems. Here are the improvements:

- Internal storage of antenna stands. The storage mechanism was manufactured in-house using additive manufacturing.
- Slam-latch lid case to increase efficiency onsite and in the warehouse.
- True-1 power connection with loop-through and standard "convenience" power outlets.
- Ethercon connections for Dante audio.
- Clearly-labeled antenna connections.
- Hinged panel for easy access to rear of the ULXD4Q received.

This is part of our ongoing system standardization which will lay the foundation for a highly-scalable approach to inventory during our next phase of growth.

This software-based Direct Take multichannel recording system has been validated and is headed to its first event. Some advantages of this system include multi-channel and multi-destination-per-channel recording to the internal RAID-5 NVME storage arrays. The storage drives are also made accessible on the production network to ease the process of transferring footage to an edit suite.

The case contains a primary and backup system. Each AMD-based unit is equipped with a total of 30Gbps of network connectivity, network-accessible 6TB RAID-5 NVME storage, multiple channels of 12G-SDI for 4K60p recording, while audio embedding is achieved via a dedicated NIC to interface with the onsite Dante audio network.

Each of these units have successfully recorded up to 28 channels of NDI video at 1080p30 using the DNxHR codec, all within a standard truck-pack footprint.
