The PMG is doing a fundraiser auction to help raise funds for the guild. Thy are looking for members to donate their used set swag such as backpacks, water bottles, baseball caps, chair backs (for chair backs they can only accept them if they were gifted from the producer of the project). ISS Georgia is the drop spot for these items. If so inclined to donate, come on in and look for the boxes with the SWAG DROP SPOT on them.

This seems a bit silly to post because of the tragic fires happening in California, but I wanted to let you all know that ISS Georgia will be closed tomorrow due to the weather conditions. We want our clients and employees to be safe and not have to travel with the road conditions being treacherous. ISS in California is closed for the 2'nd day due to the fires. Let's keep all our industry colleagues here and in LA (and everyone effected) in our prayers so be safe and sound.

Great News !

BREAKING NEWS: IATSE, AMPTP Jointly Announce Tentative Agreement for Hollywood Basic Agreement and Videotape Agreement

LOS ANGELES — The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) announced a tentative agreement on all issues for the Hollywood Basic Agreement and Videotape Agreement negotiations.

The tentative agreement is now pending ratification by the unions’ membership. Members and signatories will have the opportunity to review the agreement in the form of a Detailed Summary 2-3 days following this announcement, as well as a Memorandum of Agreement (M.O.A.) an estimated 2 weeks following this announcement.

The parties now look forward to closing negotiations for the Area Standards Agreement.

Marc Meyer thinks his prop rental business may have a month or two left before he'll have to make the difficult decision to start auctioning off the thousands of items he rents out to movie, television and commercial productions, due to the impact of the Hollywood writers and actors strike.
