The State News is published by the students of Michigan State University in print Thursdays during the fall and spring semesters and digital only during the summer. No. 14 Michigan State men’s basketball was relentless in transition against Purdue on Tuesday night, scoring 19 points off 12 turnovers and 35 off the bench in a 75-66 statement win.

The Spartans took control near the end of the first half, using their “strength and numbers” as they bested Purdue for the second time in eleven tries, dating back to 2019.
