Gladiator 2 – First Trailer (2024) Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington
Gladiator 2 releases its first images, finally unveiling characters played by Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, and more. After the success of his first film in 2000, director Ridley Scott is set to return to the gladiatorial arena with an upcoming sequel starring Mescal as a grown-up Lucius. The Gladiator 2 cast features an impressive roster of actors, including the returning Connie Nielsen, and newcomers Pascal, Denzel Washington, Fred Hechinger, and Joseph Quinn.
The images tease a bloody fight between Mescal and Pascal's General Acacius, the latter of whom is revealed to have trained under Russell Crowe's Maximus. Washington, meanwhile, will be playing an arms dealer named Macrinus, while Quinn plays Emperor Geta. Fred Hechinger is also featured in the images as Emperor Caracalla.

THE CONJURING 4: LAST RITES – First Trailer (2025) Warner Bros
With over a decade under its belt, The Conjuring 4 will bring the mainline horror franchise to a close, and the release date has now been revealed for the fourquel. Though plot details remain unknown, the final installment in the franchise will see the returns of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson and Lorraine and Ed Warren, the iconic paranormal investigators who have served as the primary thread for the majority of the interconnected universe. The Conjuring 4 will also see Michael Chaves, who helmed the previous movie and The Nun II, return to the director's chair on a script from fellow franchise vet David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
Variety has brought word that Warner Bros. has set The Conjuring 4 to hit theaters on September 5, 2025. The news also came as the studio also announced that Maggie Gyllenhaal's Frankenstein adaptation The Bride will be moving up by one week, now releasing at the end of September 2025 rather than the first week of October. At the time of writing, no production start date has been announced for the final Conjuring movie.

Alien: Romulus is pitting the notorious xenomorph against a younger and more inexperienced space crew than ever before, which could amplify the film’s cosmic terror. Set to arrive in theaters on August 16, 2024, Alien: Romulus will revolve around a group of twentysomething space colonists who inspect a dilapidated old space station and end up encountering the most fearsome lifeform in the universe. The story will take place somewhere in the decades-long gap between Alien and Aliens, and it’s aiming to collate the styles and tones of those two fan-favorite movies.
Director Fede Álvarez, who previously helmed Don’t Breathe and the Evil Dead reboot, recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his approach to Alien: Romulus. He explained how he’ll honor the franchise’s legacy, with a claustrophobic atmosphere and a fresh take on familiar iconography like the facehugger, but he also explained how this movie will differ from the previous entries in the series. Specifically, Álvarez is focusing on younger characters with less experience in space, which he believes will be more relatable to audiences who have similarly limited experience with the horrors of outer space.

Zack Snyder's Justice League: Part 2 – Official Trailer (2025)
The DC Universe's Elseworlds banner is intended to be used as a way to release movies and shows without requiring them to be tied to the main timeline and universe of the DCU itself. This opens up a host of possibilities for the franchise and ensuring successful series like The Batman can continue in their own cinematic corner.
While it's unlikely the original plans for Justice League 2 would be greenlit for Elseworlds exactly the same as they were imagined, releases like Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox movie show that DC isn't afraid to verge close to the kind of plotlines the movie would entail. As such, it still isn't impossible that the release could emerge in some transformed shape further down the line. Similarly, while Snyder has discussed moving away from the superhero genre, he's also discussed being willing to work with DC again in the future, meaning that a slim chance does still remain.

The film follows the Egyptian god Horus, who partners with a mortal Egyptian thief, on a quest to rescue his love and to save the world from Set.
Filming took place in Australia under the film production and distribution company Summit Entertainment in conjunction with Thunder Road Pictures and Proyas' production company Mystery Clock Cinema. While the film's production budget was $140 million, the parent company Lionsgate's financial exposure was less than $10 million due to tax incentives and pre-sales. The Australian government provided a tax credit for 46% of the film's budget. When Lionsgate began promoting the film in November 2015, it received backlash for its predominantly white cast playing Egyptian deities. In response, Lionsgate and director Proyas apologized for ethnically inaccurate casting.
Lionsgate released Gods of Egypt in theaters globally, starting on February 25, 2016, in 2D, RealD 3D, and IMAX 3D, and in the United States, Canada, and 68 other markets on February 26. It received negative reviews from critics and grossed a total of $150.7 million against a $140 million budget, becoming a box office bomb and losing the studio up to $90 million. It received five nominations at the 37th Golden Raspberry Awards.

Warcraft (alternatively known as Warcraft: The Beginning) is a 2016 American action fantasy film based on the video game series of the same name. Directed by Duncan Jones and written by Charles Leavitt and Jones, it stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky, Clancy Brown, and Daniel Wu. The film follows Anduin Lothar of Stormwind and Durotan of the Frostwolf clan as heroes set on opposite sides of a growing war, as the warlock Gul'dan leads the Horde to invade Azeroth using a magic portal. Together, a few human heroes and dissenting Orcs must attempt to stop the true evil behind this war and restore peace.
The film was first announced in 2006 as a project partnership between Legendary Pictures and the game's developer, Blizzard Entertainment. Warcraft premiered in Paris on May 24, 2016, and was released by Universal Pictures in the United States on June 10, 2016. Though it underperformed domestically and received generally negative reviews from critics, the film managed to gross $439 million worldwide making it the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time. Draenor, homeworld to the orcs, is being torn apart by a mysterious force known as fel magic. Gul'dan, an orc warlock, unites the orc clans into the Horde, and creates a portal to the world of Azeroth by using fel magic to drain the life out of captive draenei. Gul'dan leads a small warband through the portal to capture and sacrifice prisoners on Azeroth to bring the Horde. Durotan, the chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, his pregnant mate Draka, and his friend Orgrim Doomhammer join this initial warband. When the orcs arrive on Azeroth, Draka goes into labor, and Gul'dan rescues the dying baby, named Go'el, by draining the life out of a nearby deer to revive and infuse them with fel magic. The orcs raid several settlements throughout Azeroth. Anduin Lothar, commander of the human forces of Stormwind Kingdom, finds a trespassing mage named Khadgar investigating the bodies of the slain men, who explains that the bodies contained traces of fel magic. Stormwind's king, Llane Wrynn, sends them to the stronghold Karazhan to inform Medivh, the Guardian of Tirisfal, of the fel magic's presence on Azeroth.

It is the sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017), the ninth main installment, and the tenth full-length film released overall in the Fast & Furious franchise. The first film since Fast & Furious 6 (2013) to be directed by Lin and the first since 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) not to be written by Chris Morgan, F9 will star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron.
F9 was originally scheduled for worldwide release in April 2019, but was delayed several times, first due to the releases of Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and No Time to Die (2021), and then the COVID-19 pandemic. The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action thriller film directed by James Cameron. He sold the rights to the project to fellow New World Pictures alumna Hurd on the condition that she would produce the film only if he were to direct it; Hurd eventually secured a distribution deal with Orion Pictures, while executive producers John Daly and Derek Gibson of Hemdale Film Corporation were instrumental in setting up the film's financing and production. Originally approached by Orion for the role of Reese, Schwarzenegger agreed to play the title character after befriending Cameron. Filming, which took place mostly at night on location in Los Angeles, was delayed because of Schwarzenegger's commitments to Conan the Destroyer (1984), during which Cameron found time to work on the scripts for Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) and Aliens (1986). Songs like "In the End" and "Crawling" became massive crossover hits, and Linkin Park never really looked back, remaining both active and beloved by fans for nearly the next two decades.That was until Bennington tragically died by su***de in July 2017, a mere two months after the similar su***de of fellow rock star and Bennington's close friend Chris Cornell. Linkin Park still seems to be figuring out where they'll go with their art now that Bennington is gone, but don't seem ready to break up. Bennington was a tragic loss for both those close to him as well as the music world as a whole, but his contributions seem unlikely to ever be forgotten.

Blade is a 1998 American superhero horror film directed by Stephen Norrington and written by David S. Goyer. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, it is the first installment of the Blade franchise. The film stars Wesley Snipes as the titular character with Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson and N'Bushe Wright in supporting roles. In the film, Blade is a Dhampir, a human with vampire strengths but not their weaknesses, who together with his mentor Abraham Whistler and hematologist Karen Jenson, fights against vampires, namely the exceptionally vicious Deacon Frost.
Released on August 21, 1998, Blade was a commercial success, grossing $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $131.2 million worldwide. Despite mixed reviews from film critics, the film received a positive reception from audiences and has since garnered a cult following. It is also hailed as one of Snipes' signature roles. It was followed by two sequels, Blade II and Blade: Trinity, both written by Goyer who also directed the latter. Blade was a dark superhero film for its time. The success of Blade began Marvel's film success and set the stage for further comic book film adaptations.
