TODAY!

Starting at 2 PM, we will have multiple water delivery trucks in the neighborhood, with activity continuing until late in the evening. The deliveries may be noisy at times, and the Clubhouse area will be very busy. It is imperative that the pool is filled tomorrow for the final renovations to proceed as planned.

Please also note the following closures:

The Joyce Dock parking area
The tennis court parking lot
Additionally, the area in front of the Clubhouse will serve as a staging area for water deliveries and may be reduced to one lane at times. Residents are advised to use caution and avoid the area if possible when driving, but are welcome to come observe the pool being filled around 4:30 PM.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

The Great Harbors Sports Committee is hosting a night at Top Golf in Canton, Ma. on Thursday night November 21. All Great Harbors family members are welcome. Please contact Bob Whiting at [email protected] for more information or to sign up.

When: 6:00 PM start time

· 2.5 hours of play in heated bays

· Fun, competitive format where we all play the same course (ie; Spanish Bay, Pebble beach, etc...) and the video screen guides us on each shot.

· Video screen in the bays present real time leaderboards

· $50 pp covers the cost of golf and appetizers.

· A dinner menu (bar food style) is available, but not included.

· Will coordinate carpooling from Great Harbors.

Good Evening Great Harbors,



This Sunday is the Cape Cod Marathon and I want to share some information that pertains to Great Harbors.

GH COURSE: Runners enter into GH, right turn on Alcott, left turn on Sally, left turn on Shorewood (loop around), left turn on Alcott and out of the neighborhood.
Mile 19: Great Harbors is mile 19 mile of the course, specifically at the ball field close to right field.
Port-O-potties 2 Port-o-potties will be placed at the 19 mile mark the end of this week.
Water Station: GH will be doing a water station, on the runners right side, at Alcott just before Cuttysark.
Lead Runner arrival: Between 9:25am and 9:40am the lead runner is expected to be entering GH (5 minute ish per mile pace)
Pace Car: The Course "officials" car, possibly Falmouth Police car, 2 bikers will be just ahead of the lead male runner as well as 2 bikers ahead of the female lead runner. I kindly ask as they come through the neighborhood give them the right of way.
Runners: The bulk of the runners coming through GH are expected between 10:30 and 11:30 with the last runner by about 12:30 ish. The race "closes" at 12:45pm and runners are on their own by then.
Great Harbors Volunteers: I am very proud to say we have over 25 Great Harbors volunteers as course monitors and water station attendants. THANK YOU-- this is what makes our neighborhood an incredible community.

Roads: The roads will not be closed to cars but it might take a few extra minutes to get in/out of the neighborhood and all around Falmouth. Please be patient and drive slow Sunday morning for the runners safety.

This is an awesome event for GH and I would encourage you to head to the race route, even if it is a few minutes to cheer on the runners.
