Come out for our last Songwriters Open Mic tonight. Doors at 6:30 - arrive early to get a slot. Free studio recording of an original song will be awarded at 10:00.

Come join us for our 297th and last Open Mic this Friday 12/6. Doors will open at 6:30 with music starting at 7:00. We’re expecting a full lineup so get there early to get your slot.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce The Music Room will stop hosting Live Shows and Open Mics as of the end of 2024 (we will continue our studio recording services).

We’d like to thank all the great performers, audiences, and Sponsors we’ve had since we opened on 7/11/2014. Hopefully we’ve made an impact towards Our Mission to "Promote youth music in our community and help create a vibrant local music scene."

If you’re a performer and would like to play one more set on our stage, we still have 45-minute slots available on 12/27.

Fri 12/6 - 7:30 Songwriters Open Mic with Free Studio Recording awarded ($5 admission)
Fri 12/13 – 8:00 Vera Cooper, Tristen Kay, and After The World ($10 admission)
Fri 12/20 – 7:00 Acoustic In The Round featuring Mike Strobel, Barb Goldman, and Ed Hart ($10 admission)
Fri 12/27 – 8:00 TBD, Neil Perks ($10 admission)
Sat 12/28 – 7:00 10 Year Celebration with Riley Reger and Alien Static with special guests ($10 admission)

Songwriters Open Mic Friday 11/1 - Performers can play covers or originals. One original song will be selected for a Free Studio Recording.

No backing tracks permitted. Performer must be on hand at 10:00 to qualify for Free Studio Recording.

Sign up for a 15 minute slot when you arrive. Doors open at 7:00, performance starts at 7:30. Admission $5.

Dave, the owner of The Music Room, and his band Alien Static will be performing outside at Riley Street Station in East Aurora this Saturday at 7pm.

This is a sad day for local music. The EA MusicFest and The Music Room EA were both started 10 years ago. We can honestly say that The Music Room would not still be here today if it wasn't for all the support the EA MusicFest gave us over the last 10 years. Thanks John for all the support you've given to local charities and other small businesses!
