Contra Basso Music (CBM) was formed in 2007 when Cristian was asked to co-publish a song he wrote, "All I Can Do", with former Alligator Record recording artist, Eric Lindell. Since our inception, we have released recording from The Sessh (Fressh 2011, Anodyne (2013), Mind Spin (2016)) as we'll as B A B A U X - 89 Years (2021), Babaux and the Peacemakers "Lucky 13" (2022) as well as the critically
acclaimed Royal Peeps cd "Alessia's Walk"(2010) featuring Leo Nocentelli (The Meters), keyboardist CR Gruver (New Orleans Suspects), drummer Darren Pujalet (Particle), vocalist Ty Taylor (Vintage Trouble), Ron Haynes (The Game Changers), Johnny "Showtime" (Liquid Soul), Kandace Lindsey and bassist Cristian Basso. Contra Basso Music is affiliated with the solar powered Funk Bunker recording studio which has hosted artists such as Royal Peeps, The Sessh, Renegade Sons, B A B A U X, Hardscrabble and many more artists. CBM has fulfilled contracts with TV8 Vail Colorado and Vail Christian Academy music program. The music of the CBM catalog has been licensed by the NBA, MLB, HBO and various other cable networks.
