"I'm super proud to be from Eagan. I take tons of pride in that this is the community I grew up in and represented for so long." Last November, 3x Olympic medalist and Eagan native Natalie Darwitz was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. To commemorate this honor, a special ceremony took place in January at the Eagan Civic Arena during the intermission of an Eagan High School girl's hockey game.

In this episode of Positively Eagan, Natalie reflects on her journey to the Hall of Fame, which started with playing for the Wildcats, and two current players on the team share how Natalie has inspired their athletic careers.

Robbie Harrell, CEO of Minnesota Ice, achieved a long-time goal: to create the world's largest ice maze right here in Eagan. Foiled by weather conditions in 2024, Robbie was back to give it another shot in 2025, and succeeded!

The Guinness World Records recorded this achievement with a measurement of 1,686.087 square meters over 18,148.88 square meters. Official witnessing of the measurement was done by Mayor Mike Maguire and Council Member Cyndee Fields.

We had fun covering this year's US Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Face-Off Classic on New Year's Day. Congrats to Minnesota Women's Hockey on their win against Bemidji State University!

Happy New Year! We're starting the year off on a high note. ETV is excited to partner with the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum for their 2025 Women's Face-Off Classic! This year's game is Minnesota Women's Hockey vs. Bemidji State University. ETV will be broadcasting the game LIVE from Hasse Arena in Lakeville. Game starts at 5pm!

From performances at Historic Holz Farm to the annual holiday concert, EWON is dedicated to fostering a welcoming community for members and the public. Yesterday ETV recorded the annual Veteran's Day Recognition Program presented by the Eagan Noon and Kick-Start Rotary Clubs. Jerry Pottorff (US Army), Ross Dempsey, Jr (US Army), and Jim Peterson (US Navy) were honored at the ceremony.

This Monday at 7 pm, the full program will be available on ETV's YouTube channel and Eagan Comcast Ch. 859.
