I'm really enjoying the variety of acts coming through the studio.
Today was a flute duet.
Glad that I have Reaper (what my client uses) so I can just copy the project folder to DropBox.
Sax From Twelve Feet in Empty Studio Under Construction
Before the inner walls and insulation were built, the studio was a 48' x 60' x 24' shell. The reverb was amazing. Fortunately, I recorded a couple things before it all changed.
Equipment Test
Finally got my modest gear connected. This is just a test...
Seattle Solid Gold. The most headphones I've ever used in a session. Great band. They do a lot of gigs around town.
Fun day recording the original blues band Never Monday. They really kept me on my toes, so just this quick video of an early run-through.
About to kick off Music Matters
Just a little sample of today's session. ( I was only monitoring the stereo pair and the metronome)
Checked out all of the inputs and headphones. Now it's time to organize the cables.
Such a rewarding experience to work with Jessa Young. Here's a little clip I shot while she was warming up.
Cool wedding song by Reiny Baer. With Doug McIntosh, Dan Benson, and Steve Lemming.
The Microsoft Jump and Jive Orchestra came back to record more old time big band music. What a night!
Todd Purnick on the "warm up" take of his new song. I'm always nervous to do this once we get down to business for fear of being a distraction.
