I STILL NEED YOUR HELP:
Hey everyone!
It's been a minute since I've shared an update on my fundraiser to make more books this year. Up til now, we're at 5% of the goal I set for myself this year. To those who have supported this project so far, thanks for believing in me, it means so much.
For those on the fence, Let me share my top 4 goals for this year to help grow my small publishing company. (The link will be in the comment section because Facebook penalizes posts with external links in the)
1) REPRINT OUT OF PRINT BOOKS: I can't sell books I don't have. Supporting my fundraiser will allow me to reprint books, like my picture book Gumgah and the Grumpledonk, and be able to sell at conventions and finally print hardcover versions to have at Public Libraries. I have other out-of-print books I would like to feature newly designed covers.
2) KEEP PAYING ARTIST ON CURRENT PROJECTS: As I mentioned previously, I'm working with incredible artists on my latest fantasy graphic novel, Otis and the Sylva Beast. Your support will allow me to hire a colorist to further this project. I'm so excited at the quality of work I've seen so far and it's moving along wonderfully.
3) HIRE A PROMINENT CARTOONIST FOR A NEW PICTURE BOOK: I've approached a mystery artist who I have been wanting to work with for years to help me develop a fun picture book I wrote about being a dad with two little rambunctious daughters. He agreed to work with me and I'm pumped for this collaboration. As I mentioned earlier, having funds to secure his time will give him space to do this book justice.
4) GO TO MORE CONVENTIONS: Convention tables are getting more expensive by the day. Any funds raised will also help me travel to places where I can sell more books and grow my audience.
With that said, I know it's a rough time right now. I completely understand if you can't support my fundraiser monetarily, but know that sharing also goes a long way. Sharing with folks who might be interested helps boost the visibility of my work.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
I appreciate your time. Be sure to look at my link in the comments below to help me grow Not So Super Publishing. No contribution is too small.
Thanks again for everything.
