The giveaway takes place at 2506 Fayetteville Street minutes from downtown Durham.

BREAKING — UNC officials just officially announced Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick as the next football coach for the Tar Heels, agreeing to a 5 year deal at $10M/year.

The UNC board of trustees is expected to formally approve the contract Thursday morning.

As the former head coach of the New England Patriots with a record 6 Super Bowl wins, this will be Bill's first stint at the college level.

Welcome to Chapel Bill.

Get ready for the Durham Holiday Parade this Saturday December 14 starting at 10am down Main Street in Downtown Durham.

Will these Two Guys make a comeback?

Cheer on hometown bands, drill teams, schools, and community groups as they make their way. The procession will conclude with a guest appearance from Santa.

This is a FREE event, rain or shine. Seating will not be provided so bring your chairs and blankets.

These parking garages will be FREE: Chapel Hill Street, Corcoran Street, Church Street, Durham Centre, Morgan-Rigsbee.

The Durham Rescue Mission is hosting their 50th Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner tomorrow November 28 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Any homeless, hungry, and needy men, women, and children of the Triangle are invited. This event is held outdoors at the Mission campus located at 1201 East Main Street.

FREE activities all day including a hot turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and hot dogs. PLUS, a bag of groceries will be given to every family to take home and cook for another meal. In addition, there will be a variety of carnival games with prizes for the children as well as free clothing items given away.

A special ticket drawing will be held for a 65” SMART TV, Nintendo Switch, 3 Chrome Book’s, and assorted new bicycle’s for girls and boys.

FOODIE NEWS — Mirchi's Indian Kitchen & Bar, a Cary favorite, has replaced the former Indian Monsoon at 105 W. Morgan Street.

Mirchi's blends both classic and modern Indian flavors using carefully sourced, high quality ingredients with fresh spices in-house.

The bar will offer a rotating selection of seasonal and classic cocktails, alongside Indian-inspired mixes and a curated list of beers and wines.

HUGE NEWS — The White House just announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce is investing $285 million to build and operate the very first-of-its-kind CHIPS Manufacturing USA Institute headquartered right here in Durham!

The new institute, known as SMART USA (Semiconductor Manufacturing and Advanced Research with Twins USA) will focus on advancing semiconductor research and manufacturing to increase U.S. competitiveness and promote a robust R&D infrastructure.

This is an exciting win for Durham that will result in significant economic and employment impact. Now where to build?
