The Corner Magazine is now at our new location inside the Durham Library Maker Lab space at Northgate Mall. All teens and their parents are welcome to join us every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6pm. We're located right across the hall DTLR clothing store.

Yesterday, we held our Teen Program Info Session at the Durham County Main Library in the Makerlab . It was good to hear the students talk about their interests. We are excited for another year! Contact us for a membership application.

We meet at this library every Tuesday 4:30-6:00 p.m.

This is a great program where teens and tweens can be part of our magazine production team and create the Corner Magazine from cover to cover. This program also teaches business skills, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and leadership.

The Corner Magazine has been servicing all teens in the triangle area to help improve on their literacy skills for the past 7 years. Here is one of our past classes at Neal Middle School. All of our students become published authors at the end. Come to our information session on Dec 6th from 4:30 to 6pm at the main downtown Durham library in the Maker Lab to learn how to sign your teen up to be a part of our program.

Tomorrow starts our program at the Main Durham Library Downtown! We invite all teens to come and participate in writing and creating their articles to be on The Corner Magazine's blog site and last issue of the year from 4:30pm-6pm every Tuesday in the Maker Lab on the 2nd floor.
If you enjoy writing, photography or Graphic design... Learn how to be a part of a magazine production team as we write, photograph, and design images for publication in The Corner Magazine. Thanks!

The Corner Magazine is proud of all the great work that TMLAcadmemy is doing with their young men. Keep it up!

We are excited to announce that all six of our young men were accepted to attend the Brothers United In Leadership Development (B.U.I.L.D.) Summit at NC State. Our young men will learn leadership skills, a variety of academic disciplines in the education field, and develop skills to enhance their career and college readiness. They will also have the opportunity to interact with university faculty, community leaders, and current college student leaders, as well as increase their knowledge about the post-secondary education environment.

We are so proud of all of our young men and their moms.
