On last night’s Down Home Girl I mentioned this dude, Michael Palmisano, and his reaction videos on YouTube. He has the most amazing ear of anyone I’ve ever seen with his ability to pick out chords, melodic improv, solos, and the like. He has some really awesome reaction videos spanning all kinds of genres, including bluegrass.. Tony Rice, Mandolin Orange, Billy Strings, etc. This one in particular cracked me up as he is absolutely gobsmacked at this tune. It’s the same face I think we all make when watching the Punch Brothers. 🤯🤓🤣 What do you think?

Reunited and it feels so good! Durango's Stillhouse Junkies (2021 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year), KSUT's Chris Aaland, and Down Home Girl J.J. Hirt (also representing the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown) are all together at the 2022 International Bluegrass Music Association conference and awards in Raleigh, NC this week.
