Check out ⛵️Lake Pepin’s⛵️ year in review!✨ ⛵️Last January, ice fishermen had multiple vehicles broke through the ice on Lake Pepin in Frontenac, MN. 🧊 ⛵️Spring 2023 floods hit the shoreline communities hard. (Yes, trailers were moved or attempted to be moved off of the point in Lake City). ⛵️In June, Lake City, MN bid farewell to the iconic the Pearl of the Lake. The Pearl then jumped through many hoops to get to its new home in St. Cloud, Florida. @pearlofthelake ⛵️Last August, Stockholm, WI was named #3 “Best U.S. Towns With Fewer Than 10,000 Residents” by farandwide.com ⛵️At Laura Days, Pepin, WI welcomed actor, Dean Butler, that played Almanzo Wilder on the long-running NBC TV series, “Little House on the Prairie.” @lauradays ⛵️In July, Wabasha, MN held a musical performance of Grumpy Old Men. @rjacmn ⛵️Last spring, Bay City, WI began a “habitat restoration project to improve water quality, fish & wildlife habitat, and recreational access at the head of Lake Pepin in the backwaters.” 👏 @lakepepinlegacyalliance ⛵️This past December, we had a brown Christmas and unseasonably warm weather. @larktoys even had mini-golf open on Christmas Eve weekend! ⛵️We said goodbye to a few businesses, but welcomed many more (like Go Lake Pepin, LLC!) ✨Uffda!
