Congratulations ‘Two Strangers’ by James Michael Brunner, a 2022 Christian Film Festival Award Winner for Best Feature Film (James Michael Brunner), Best Producer (Tatiana Leitzel), Best Actor (Michael Wolfersberger – Michael), and Best Costumes & Props (Kendalle D. Wilt)! Two strangers show up in a small western town in the 1800s. The five adventures are straight from the Bible. The strangers reach out to five different individuals to try to get them to understand God's path for them! In 2007, the fall after I graduated, I shot a short film in 3 partial days. I wrote the screenplay, casted the parts, directed, produced, did cover art, edited, and hired a musician. This was the first film that I worked with a music artist, Trezire (Nigel Jones), to make custom pieces for the film. I finished the editing process in less than a month after I had all the music, and planned on partnering it with another short film I had written.

The other film is still in screenplay form, eluded to in the "Sound the Alarm" trailer, and is still in my goals to shoot sometime soon. It has very few sets, 4 main cast members, and some extras. Very straightforward.

The pivotal piece is that these characters are to be in the future films as well (think multi film deal) and as an independent filmmaker that can be more difficult. With the independent films that I create they all are interwoven in a deep way. This era will perhaps be the rebirth of my passion projects.

The cast and crew of Dead End Studios LLC worked very hard on the promo video for Kickstarter in 2013. The promo was to aid in funding our next few films and launch our sister photography studio Red Siren Productions LLC (www.redsirenpro.zenfolio.com https://www.facebook.com/redsirenpro ). I made a pact with myself while I am working on these advertisements, demo reels, and remastering "Dead End". A pact that when I find a dusty old gem in on my hard drive, to release it to the public. To share with you all who have loved and supported me through all these years of passion projects.

In 2013 I launched a Kickstarter for a series of films (I still plan to recast and make!). I made a short film encompassing the span of one of the main films I was going to use the funding to make. Here is a shortened teaser that I never released until NOW. Enjoy!

🤯15 years ago, today was the first premier of Dead End. My first feature length film shot in the summer between 10th and 11th grade (with the excuse of it being a graduation project). I started the screenplay in May of 2005, my fellow teenage friends gave up their entire summer to this project, I edited from the day we started shooting until April of 2006. On June 3, 2006, I hosted the premier of this feature length film.🎬

Today we celebrate 15 years since the first premier. I purchased a new Sony TRV250 (the original DV camera I used back then) to import the old metallic tapes (so in the meantime excuse the compressed footage). Over the next few weeks, I will be documenting the process of importing the old footage in a crisper more knowledgeable way (aka: NOT Window’s XP moviemaker default settings! Yes, as a teen that was all I had to work on. Now I have professional equipment.), reworking the audio to harvest as much clean sound as possible, editing the film to the original script with as little change as possible, adding special effects (blood, dirt, smoke), relaying new royalty free music and sound effects (I was 16 and had no idea of copyright laws back then), and premiering it with (hopefully) the original cast and crew as well as new faces that have supported me in these years of filmmaking. After that, lets look towards a real DVD release or a digital launch. I am open to suggestions. I just want to give this project justice and those who sacrificed time and energy into this with me.
