Lighting design at the Athletic Club in Columbus, OH
We walk through life using all 5 of our senses everyday, all the time, sometimes without even realizing it. As a musician I interact with sound most often, but during the past 5 years I have also been working with light as a gaffer and camera operator on film sets and locations across the mid-west. In the television and film industry it is all about light, how it interacts with the subject and assists in telling the story. It is so important that there is a person or team of people whose sole job is to make the light perfect, the gaffer.
Lately I have been applying my knowledge and passion for lighting to live events, and I am thrilled with the results! You have put a lot of resources into creating the perfect design, between the venue, florals, place setting and all the other decor, it tells your story, reflects who you are.
While we have always created great lighting for your dance floor, we now offer lighting for everything else as well. To highlight your floral designs, make your cake glimmer like a diamond ring in a showcase, and to put your beautiful tablescape front and center.
As a bonus one of the best things I hear now at events that we do the lighting design is, "The lighting is so good in this room, my selfies look amazing!" Funny, yes, but so true, and if the selfies look so much better, imagine how a professional photographer will use that perfect lighting.
