Teton sprints to victory against Marsh Valley
Teton High School football opened it's home campaign this season with a flash, trucking to a 43-14 win against the outmatched Marsh Valley Eagles. While starting slow with no points in the opening quarter, the Timberwolves led at half 27-0.
The performance was, and get used to this, powered by a 5 touchdown, 'man-among-boys' performance by Thomas Heuseveldt. Look for the TVN's game recap later this weekend. Heuseveldt has a staggering 9 Touchdowns over his first 2 games of the season.
Driggs' Gambal House slides into place
Driggs' Gambal House, a much anticipated future childcare center, slid onto its foundation earlier this week after being relocated from a site out in Teton County earlier this month.

Nelson to Brown as Teton wins another Battle of the Tetons trophy
Teton High School retained the Battle of the Tetons trophy last night, taking it to the Jackson Hole High School Broncs by a decisive margin of 47-21.
QB Jack Nelson, RB Jack Joyce, and WR Ty Brown (see below) all scored touchdowns, but RB/WR Thomas Heuseveldt was the star man on the night with 4 trips to the endzone himself. Heuseveldt also had an interception, in addition to many hard hits and tackles.
Air Idaho Takes off from Courthouse
Teton County Idaho, along with Air Idaho, Teton Valley Health, Teton County Sheriff's Office, and Teton County Fire/EMS held an active shooter drill at the Teton County Courthouse this morning.
Here a 'red' victim (critical condition) gets packaged and transported in an Air Idaho helicopter as part of the training exercise.
Thomas survives as the last car standing
Last night the conclusion of the Teton County Fair ended with a bang as Elijah Thomas drove the 7269 car to it's limit, which was further than everyone else's. Thomas was rewarded with $1,000 as the last car standing. Fireworks culminated the night, which marked a remarkable success for the 100 year Fair! Congrats!
2023 Teton Valley Hay Days!
WOAH! Check this out! Held annually at AJ Woolstenhulme's farm almost smack dab in the middle of Teton Valley, Teton Valley Hay Days presents farmers a unique chance to do things the old way, including stack hay. The Woolstenhulme's can be seen on top of the haystack, making sure each load of hay gets distributed evenly.
The day isn't quite over yet though, as the renowned Western musician Dave Staley will be performing at 7PM.
Tin Cup Fun Run!!
Wa-Hoo!! Tin Cup event day is happening right now in Driggs' City Park until noon. Come by and check out offerings and booths from over 50 nonprofits and hear about what they are doing to further the Teton Valley Community. Great Job Community Foundation of Teton Valley!

Timberwolves
The Timberwolves won their State 3A quarterfinal against Buhl 53-32 last night as snow hammered Mark Huntsman Field in Driggs. Thomas Heuseveldt led the Timberwolves with 4 (!!!) touchdowns including this 4th-quarter score.
Teton decisively earned a spot in the state quarterfinals with tonight’s 56-13 win at home against Marsh Valley.
The TVN's Paul Fadden met up with the Teton Regional Economic Coalition's Bevin Taylor and Brian McDermott to thank the community for their record turnout in this year's "Best Of Teton Valley" vote. We'll be celebrating the success of this year's competition at the Tetonia Club on October 20th. We can't wait to get the party started!
