Los Nietos Press is dedicated to the countless generations of people whose lives and labor created the world community that today spreads over the coastal floodplain known simply as Los Angeles. Who We Are

Los Nietos Press publishes works of poetry and short story that help us understand the lives and history of the people who make up the diverse community of Southern California. We are looking f

or work that is about the person, but also about place; work that sheds light on the author as well as, or in the context of, Southern California. Our particular interest is the people and the place that fans out East and South from Los Angeles, away from the glitz and glamour of the West Side, into the vibrant working communities from East L.A. to Long Beach, from Santa Ana over to the historic cities of the Inland Empire.
