July 8, 2024 – Western Kansas β€” Rocking M Media, a prominent presence in the Western Kansas radio landscape, is pleased to announce the sale of its radio stations to Kansas Broadcast Company LLC, owned by veteran broadcaster Kyle Bauer. This transaction marks a significant transition in the local broadcasting community, ensuring the continuation of quality programming, community engagement, and public service.

Monte and Doris Miller, the visionary owners of Rocking M Media, acquired the stations in 2007. Over the past 17 years, the Millers have dedicated themselves to informing, entertaining, and serving the Western Kansas communities. Their stations have been a beacon of quality programming, from local news and public information to community events and entertainment, fostering a strong connection with their listeners.

"We are immensely proud of what we've accomplished over the years," said Monte Miller. "Our stations have been more than just a source of news and music; they have been a vital part of the community. Starting today, June 10, US 50 Highway east of the rear entrance of Dodge City Community College to 6th Avenue, and a section from Central Avenue to Barbara Lane will receive a Mill and Inlay, as shown on the map below. The project will also include the US 50 Highway approaches at 14th Avenue, Melencamp Avenue, 6th Avenue and Barbara Lane. This project will take approximately two weeks to complete. During construction, a pilot car and flaggers will guide traffic through the construction area.

During construction, please be mindful of your surroundings while navigating these sections of highway, taking special caution for construction equipment and newly placed asphalt. Your adherence to all traffic control measures will ensure the safety of both yourself and others. If you observe any unsafe conditions or have concerns that need attention, please contact APAC at 620-227-6908.
