I made a conscious choice to be present with my family this past weekend/week. I chose my mental, emotional, and physical wellness over the demands of an impersonal algorithm. It was so liberating! Do you know what happened? Nothing. I lost less than five followers, but they were bots anyway. The pause on my reels and stories actually seemed to rejuvenate my account. Older reels are seeing some love. This entire week, I have only posted 1-2 reels a day and minimal stories. Surprisingly, I don’t feel the same anxiety that I used to feel when I pushed myself to post three times a day. That’s a win in my book!🙌I have reconnected with my children and the lifestyle that I am actually working toward. And that’s all because I took the risk of not posting for one day. I allowed myself the space to try something different and see how I actually feel. Not follow what other people say I should do, but what I feel I should do. I share all of this, so that you are reminded that this is YOUR journey. If you are looking for time and financial freedom, then you need to know who you are, and what you want out of this life.
