A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROFESSIONAL MERMAID (Come with me to a Winter Mermaid Event in Cheboygan, MI) - What is it like to be a professional mermaid? Come along with me to a mermaid gig in Cheboygan, Michigan. In December, my Mermaid Phantom character paid a visit to Enchanted Knights of Cheboygan for their Grand Opening. This video will take you with me so you can see what it is like to be a mermaid performer. And as an extra bonus, I'll take you outside into the snowy wilderness after the event portion of the video to show you one of my favorite trees in the forest.

This video is NOT sponsored by Enchanted Knights. But I am a huge fan of their stores and their people (and I remembered to film before the event a little) so I figured it was a good chance to make this video for you all.

Each professional mermaid does things differently, but this is how my events tend to go.. except we don't normally have blizzards during events, and I usually clean my gear the night of. But otherwise, this is kinda what a standard event day looks like for me. :)

That is me when replying to silly comments from haters. "Fake!" "AI." "So stupid." "Waste of time." "Shark bait." "She is wearing a watch!!!!"

Like... No. No. No. Nope. No. And noooooo. 😂

Guess again. Lol.

As I know you know (because you take the time to read- thank you 🖤) I'm a real person who wears various mermaid costumes and performs primarily in the state of Michigan. Because my captions and about page do make this clear, I make sure to argue my case in as few words as possible when speaking to the haters to save myself time. But I can't help but to feel like that very specific game character in that scene when I do it. 😅🤭

A September swim in Lake Superior 🧜🏻‍♀️🖤 A few years back, I went swimming in Lake Superior in one of my silicone mermaid tails. It was a chilly swim for sure, and quite wavy too, but it was done safely and did feel nice with all of the itchy bumps I had all over my body that day 😅🖤
