Display Group Group was in full swing at last week's press conference, commemorating the 150-day countdown to the 2024 NFL Draft!

AVL Creative and DG3D's teams delivered full production services at Ford Field Field, including state-of-the-art staging, dazzling LED displays, immersive lighting, crystal-clear audio, and professional broadcast video streaming.

Unique 3D props and lighting features enhanced the ambiance and also served as photo ops. The stage mirrored the iconic football turf, with a custom-printed backdrop ready for TV cameras, and an LED stage skirt that lit up the event with custom content. The audience enjoyed the event in comfort, seated on our stylish rental furniture, while the press had the perfect vantage point from our multi-tier risers.

This collaboration included the strategic minds at the Detroit Sports Commission and Visit Detroit. It was the latest example of Display Group's participation in the upcoming Draft, which began with the design and production of the Countdown Clock located in Campus Martius.

The late 90s -- and Y2K -- were back in style for a Display Group client's recent annual event celebrating their employees.

AVL Creative helped recereate the era by utilizing their lighting and audio/visual expertise, while the period decor was delivered by Display Group Events. The guests enjoyed screens showcasing popular television shows of the time and had the opportunity to relive the days of myspace (google it!) with a custom-made photo booth.

Earlier this month, Bedrock invited the Detroit community to commemorate the grand reopening of the Book Tower Detroit, following a 7-year, $300+ million renovation.

"Celebration in the City" took place on Wednesday, the 2nd, and featured live performances by the Grammy-winning musician Miguel and the acclaimed Detroit Youth Choir. Attendees also enjoyed local food trucks, a pop-up artisan market, a captivating historical exhibition, and much more.

Display Group's AVL-C and Fantasee Lighting proudly assisted in bringing the event to life.

The 31st annual Concert of Colors returned to Detroit with great success, thanks in part to the collaborative efforts of Display Group's AVL Creative and Fantasee Lighting, in association with The Kyte Group.

This free, family-friendly event takes place both indoors and outdoors at the Detroit Institute of Arts, featuring captivating performances at various cultural institutions across Metro Detroit. Its main objective? To foster unity among Metro Detroit's diverse communities and ethnic groups by showcasing music and dance from different parts of the world.

As synonymous with Memorial Days in Michigan as hot dogs, beaches and backyard BBQs, May 27-29th saw tens of thousands of music lovers attend Movement Electronic Music Festival 2023.

And as the musicians kept the crowd moving with their techno beats, Paxahau again tapped AVL and Display Group's Creative Collective to provide lighting, photo ops, and eye-popping decor.

Our friends at 160over90 wanted a show-stopping installation for "A Legendary Affair,"' celebrating Mercedes' AMG Petronas F1 Racing Team. Our video content team worked along with DG3D to create a stunning centerpiece befitting their elite team.

The result was a breathtaking 10-foot projection-mapped inflatable globe -- suspended gracefully in the middle of the Ritz Carlton Southbeach's pool.

AVL's Creative Collective partners Fantasee Lighting are offering a day of illuminating experiences on Tuesday, April 25th, at the 2023 Martin Lighting Roadshow! 💡🎥

The Roadshow includes learning sessions, featuring "Maximizing Fixture Programming" with Martin's Brad Schiller at 2:00 PM and "Martin P3 Fundamentals" with Aaron Vengrow at 3:30 PM.

On March 8th & 9th, the Display Group organized an event for students from four high schools in Detroit. The event was conducted in partnership with the Detroit Public Schools Foundation and aimed to provide students with insight into different career options in the event industry.

Our Creative Collective team -- including AVL's own Dan Gilles -- met with students from Osborn High School- DPSCD, Communication and Media Arts , DSA Detroit School Of Arts High School, and Martin Luther King High School. Over 50 students participated in the event each day, and a number of them will have the opportunity to shadow our presenters for a few weeks this spring.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this year's event. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with young minds and encourage them to pursue careers in the event industry.
