Music Gear Nerd Alert! 🚨
I finally made the jump to a 4x10 bass cab

Back in the day, I was all about the Ampeg SVT. I had the full rig with a 4x10 and 1x15 cab, but the 1x15 didn’t last long. After one tour of hauling two cabs in out of venues, I ditched it. I loved my SVT head, but once it needed new tubes and a few repairs, it never sounded the same. That’s when I switched to the Orange AD200. This thing has been a tank. Survived endless tours, been re-tubed multiple times, and always sounds great.

Even with the Orange head, I stuck with my old Ampeg 4x10 for years. I finally grabbed the matching Orange 4x10 cab. It's heavier so that sucks, but the second I plugged in, you could hear the difference. The low-end presence is killer. Plus I'm happy that finally, the curtains match the drapes 😂
