That's a wrap on our 2024 season and for me. I have had so much fun and met so many amazing people and film teams since I first come on board in 2006. And the films. So many amazing short films made in only 48 hours. Thank you all for letting me stick around so long. Keep creating Des Moines. I will see you down the road.

Last night the 48 Des Moines Hall of Fame was announced and inducted it's first recipients. Congrats to the Inductees of 2024. The slate includes Heidi & Mary Burhans, the 1st producers of the 48 Des Moines and the team responsible for bringing it to our city. Our first team induction is Team Last to Enter who is the only international 48 winner from Des Moines. These worthy recipients helped put the Des Moines 48 on the map. Thank you all for your contributions to the 48 community.
