Radar update as snow continues to fall over the far south. A few roads are being reported as partially covered. Check 511ia.org for the latest conditions.

Snow reaching the ground down around Lamoni and Mt. Ayr, where visibility is very low. Dry air coming in from the north has really been evaporating the falling snow and keeping totals lower than expected.

Radar update... accumulating snow starts piling up in southwest IA in the early morning, then all of southern Iowa Sunday into the evening. Heaviest totals of 5-9" in the southern tier of counties. We'll keep you updated.

Sunny and mild conditions across Iowa, while a severe weather outbreak is unfortunately occurring in the South. We'll take a look at a chillier forecast ahead at 6 on WHO13.
