The palisades fire near LA is so big now it’s showing up on radar. Reportedly near 3000 acres. Prayers to those in its path and the firefighters working to contain it.

MAJOR winter storm is taking aim on the Midwest this weekend. Winter storm watch (blue) already in effect for much of Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana.

Early snowfall predictions from the NWS are from 6 to as much as 14 inches in the heaviest hit areas. There will be a much better idea as we get closer.

SPC has upgraded todays threat once again over portions of the southern US. Moderate 4/5 risk including a 15 percent area for tornadoes today. Storms are already firing across the region with multiple tornado warnings already. Storms are expected to continue to intensify as we move later into the day. We busted south last night and are running on fumes today.
