Unlike any wedding painting you’ve seen before. 🎨 I have never had such an incredible creative challenge in my life (in the BEST way)! Kay & Jackson’s brief was “choatic, fun, colourful, and energetic”! The wedding was set at the iconic Melbourne Holey Moley, and Kay & Jackson absolutely shone in matching red wedding attire. I went with a peek-a-boo moment around the corner of the Candy Heart Room to fullfil tbe brief. 🥰 This is a wedding painting I will NEVER forget.

👀 My favourite part of what I do, is that first look of wonder when the couple recognise themselves in the painting, even in those early stages. 🥰 Live Wedding Painters’ styles vary from impressionistic to realistic, and all our styles capture a different kind of essence on the day. No one style is better than the other.

Replying to @Kolpi96 I personally see quite a difference before and after touch ups. It’s not supposed to look like an entire new painting, rather, a more refined version of what was hastily created on the wedding night.

Was changing the smile the right call? 😍✨ When I go through reference photos, I have a strict reviewing process, but this time, I chose the wrong reference for the bride. The connection was missing and I was SO relieved when the bride asked if I could change her smile. I went back through my reference photos and found one where I thought she looked happiest and most in love. I am so happy with the outcome of changing the smile! It brings love back into the painting. But, I am even happier that the bride felt comfortable enough to ask!
