Many moons ago, I ran a small record label called Suburban Home. I put out some damn great records from some of my favorite bands. During Suburban Home's peak, we were throwing anniversary parties at 3 Kings Tavern. We'd have people from all over travel to Denver for a weekend of good buds, good tunes, and way too many drinks. My buddy James has been recording live performances for as long as I've known him and he was always around during our anniversary weekends. He recently published the entire 16th Anniversary weekend for a free download and he gave me this amazing cassette / usb stick containing all the audio. Visit this link and you will hear performances from Two Cow Garage, Tin Horn Prayer, Lenny and the P**s Poor Boys, Lizzie Huffman, and lots more. It's incredible how much time James puts into these recordings just to share what he loves! Thanks for being you my friend!

I was recently asked about ! It was in 1993 at the Mercury Cafe Denver watching the legendary ska band, Skankin' Pickle. That was the show that turned me into a punk rocker and is the reason I eventually started Suburban Home Records. I met Mike Park that day who would go on to start Asian Man Records and become a very dear friend. It blew my mind that Koreans knew how to play music and the energy I felt in that room changed me forever! Thanks Levitt Pavilion Denver for allowing me to tell my story!
