Rest In Peace • Brenton Wood
Today we lost another legend!
He had so many classics like “Oogum Boogum” • “Me and You” • “Baby You Got It” and this one he’s performing on Top Of The Pops in 1968 • “Gimmie Little Sign”
Thanks for the tunes Mr. Wood. Give his records a spin if ya got em!

What a voice and stage presence she had.
A childhood friend of Etta James, you can hear the similarities in their voices. They also collaborated on “In The Basement” which is an absolute banger.
Her other hits were “Soulful Dress” • “I Want To Know” • Slip-in-Mules” • Go-Go Power” and my personal favorite “Going Back Where I Belong”
She may be gone but we’ll be spinning her records forever ✨
Did you grab your tickets yet?!
