The MLB All Star Weekend brought an extensive amount of baseball activities to Denver — the Play Ball Park event filled the Colorado Convention Center with many types of exhibits, perfect for both the casual fan and the serious aficionado.

One of the exhibits — the Negro Baseball League exhibit highlighted the struggles and triumphs of Black baseball players while the sport was still segregated. Many of the items on display — including some of Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron — were provided courtesy of The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum which is dedicated to preserving the history of Black baseball.
