🧱 We love the obscure aesthetic of this bar that literally used to be an alley. It feels like you can hide away from the city whilst still in it. And though not technically a Speakeasy, we don’t think, in many ways it’s an “if you know, you know” place.
👋 The Timelessness of the space invites mystery, awe, and intimacy. For example, even if you’ve been Dating for approximately 179 Wednesdays, and you kinda know each other well, it’s the perfect place to meet up after work and be like “Hey mysterious stranger…my name is Gladora. Are you Shumlt?” (Pro Tip: you should pick your own role play names, I believe these ones are taken).
🍹 Let us tell you honestly - the drinks here are fantastic! That’s it. They just are. The bartenders care about their craft and the menu shifts often enough that it keeps you intrigued to bring many Charming Someones there, if that’s your vibe.
🍣 Bar Kumo serves the entire menu of @kumoya_denver which is a huge plus, especially if the Date is going well, you’re a few drinks in, and your tummies start to rumble.

We recently popped into @fishnbeer_denver to try out their happy hour and it hit ALL the right notes for us.
HH is Tuesday thru Saturday, 5-6:30pm
🍹 Beers, Bubbles & Frozen Drinks are all on special $6 - $10. The Shark Bite comes with a gummy shark 😋
🦪 $2.50 for Raw and $3 for the Grilled Oysters. If you haven’t had the Grilled, you need to. Even if you don’t love Oysters. Try both flavors.
🌮 🐠 The bites range from $6 - $12. We recommend going with one of everything 😂 (we really couldn’t choose).

@weltonroom is well known for their over-the-top drink creations but did you know they also have incredible food?!
💋 This Date Night Special happens every Thursday night and definitely makes for an intimate evening.

We went into this date not knowing what to expect and it far exceeded anything we could have hoped for.
Here are a some of the wild things we tried:
🍞 🧀 The Vampire Dip is this beautiful cheesy garlicky bread bowl and it’s a Must Try. We couldn’t stop eating it. We definitely recommend the “Alicia Method” of bread bowling.
🍔 They’re known for their burgers and they have some insane combos. We tried the PB&J burger because it was too ridiculous sounding to miss. It was freakin amazing.
Peanut Butter, Jelly, Thai Sriracha Bacon and Vanilla Ice Cream. Wow. Just Wow.
🍗 They also have some of our favorite wings in Denver. So Crispy!
🫨 The Milkshakes are so crazy (in a good way). One of ours came with an entire slice of cheesecake on top. You need to experience them.
🍻 They have tons of local beers on tap. We tried a Sour from @deweybeerdenver that was crazy good too. This is also where we first fell in love with @weldwerksbrewing
🤝 The entire staff was also just so friendly, fun and engaging. We didn’t want to leave but we figured the team probably wanted to clock out at some point.
Pro Tip: Level Up your experience with the tequila flight!!
Happy Hour is from 3-6pm, 9pm-Close during the week.

@rootdowndenver has Sunday Dinner every week that includes three incredible courses for just $45 per person. It’s like restaurant week but all year round!
If you haven’t been to Root Down before or if it’s been a while (it was for us!), here’s what you need to know:
🤤 The menu is eclectic with bites that span the globe and Everything is excellent! We tried EVERY SINGLE one of the Sunday Dinner options and they were all so good. If you happen to veer off the Sunday menu (you KNOW we did), don’t miss the Arepas too!
😎 The space is bright and beautiful, with lots of patio seating + giant garage doors that open to allow the outside in! It’s perfect for a spring/summer day or night.
The space was converted from a Gas Station / Auto Shop so it has this really cool funky feel to it.
🍹 The drink menu is unique AND loaded with great flavors. We “sampled” (i.e. tried and finished 🤣) a bunch of great cocktails PLUS they have an array of tasty NA beverages!
Pro Tip: Don’t skip the dessert! We loved all the bites with the Strawberry Shortcake Bomb being our favorite.

We honestly surprised ourselves with this one and current Us couldn’t hang with those people.
We had a stellar time partying at @riothousedenver recently and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a night of drinks and/or dancing.
Bonus points for going full baller and getting bottle service!
Yes, it’s true. They did spell our name “Date Night Enver” but luckily we got to laugh it off with lots of jokes about where “The D” might have ended up.
